I started playing this on the hihat, realized the pattern I was playing HAD to be “dong proper” and restarted in the spirit that beat was intended to be played!

Only I didn’t play it EXACTLY like the part, because I didn’t want it to be too predictable. Also, the big Blackada blookada blookada blookada black black” fills are there, only slightly twisted just enough to make it hurt.
